Monica Healthcare is working with Prof Gerrard Visser, Head of the Department of Obstetrics and his colleagues at UMC Utrecht in the Netherlands on a number of studies to develop the technology.
Prof Visser is very supportive, and sees the opportunity to monitor pregnant women in their own home, for long periods with unobtrusive, easy to use, and above all a safe device, as an important step towards improving fetal outcome and reducing costs.
