Low risk maternal and fetal conditions (antenatal)

Maternal conditions (from gestation week 30 and higher)

• Risk of preterm delivery
  • Cervix length > 2,5 cm (vaginal sonographical measure)
  • negative bacteriological smear test
  • negative fetal fibronectin test
• strong psychological stress (after one or more aborts or intrauterine deaths)
• Lupus erythematodes
• Post term pregnancy (ET + 7)
• Hypertension (BP > 140/90 mmHg)
• Other maternal medical disease
  • cardiac disease (eg. valvular heart disease)
  • anaemia
  • hyperthyroidism
  • vascular disease
  • renal disease
  • other diseases (e.g. MS)

Fetal conditions

• Arrhythmias
• Valvular heart disease
• Anaemia
• Small for gestational age (SGA)
