Medium risk maternal and fetal conditions (antenatal/intrapartum) - typical hospitalized patients

Maternal conditions

• Pre-eclampsia
• Antepartum haemorrhage
• Intrauterine infection

Fetal conditions

• Prematurity
• Oligohydramnios
• Abnormal umbilical artery Doppler velocimetry
• Isoimmunisation
• Multiple pregnancy
• Breech presentation

In Germany according to the German-DRG (2004) the following female patients would be eligible for Home-Monitoring:

• O64A, missed labor
• O65A, other stationary admission before the birth of the child, with heavily complications or co-morbiditys
• O65B, other stationary admission before the birth of the child, without heavily complications or co-morbiditys

And according to the German-ICD10 diagnoses the following female patients would also be eligible for Home-Monitoring:

• O47.0, missed contractions before the completed 37th pregnancy week
• O47.1, missed contractions starting from 37th or more completed pregnancy week
• O47.9, missed contraction, at or near delivery
